Moseley Missiles’ Winter Championship runs from when the clocks change in October to when they go back in March.
It’s an endurance league, over 22 weeks, to encourage our riders out into the cold, wet and dark of our UK winter.
Strange thing, riding outside your comfort zone: your comfort zone grows larger, you realise it’s actually not all that bad out there, and that mere weather isn’t going to get in the way of you enjoying the love and camaraderie of cycling!
We are indebted to the Missiles’ co-founder Jon Terry for designing the Winter Championship, and we run it every year in his honour.
The 2025/6 Winter Championship rules are as follows:
Note: for 2025/6 there is no combined ‘GC’. At our AGM we simply couldn’t agree how to fairly combine ‘indoor’ with ‘outdoor’ mileage, as it’s like adding apples to oranges, so there’s no ‘GC’ this year. Sorry (not sorry). Enjoy!
