📣 Applications for the Bike Bus Accelerator Support Package are now open!

Bike Buses are bringing children, families and communities together to cycle to school — but getting one started or keeping one growing isn’t always easy.

That’s why @bycs_org and @shimanolifestyle have created the Bike Bus Accelerator: tailored support for people who want to START a new Bike Bus or GROW an existing one.

🚲 START — support worth up to €500
🚲 GROW — support worth up to €1.000

Tell us what is standing in your way. Depending on what you need, support could include equipment, practical guidance, expert or peer support, communications help or financial support for a specific need.

Applications are open from 22 October 2026 until 19 November 2026.

The START pathway is intended for new organisers, while GROW is for existing Bike Bus leaders; the maximum support values are €500 (30 Support Packages) and €1.000 (10 Support Package) respectively.
